• Do you brew beer?
As of October 2022, we have stopped brewing beer at The Side Lot. We occasionally collaborate with various local breweries on special re-releases of the Side Lot Brewery beers. Our draft list is always filled with favorite craft beers from around Illinois. You can always see what is on tap here.
• Are reservations required?
Reservations are always recommended. Walk-in guests may be asked to move tables or utilize the standing room to make room for guests with a reservation. All information about reservations can be found here: Reservations.
• Why do you need a credit card to make reservations?
Due to an increase in no-shows, last-minute cancellations, and overbooking the number of people in the party, we have started holding credit cards to ensure we are not reserving space for no reason. Your card will be charged if your party is a no-show or you do not adjust your party size at least two hours before your reservation time. • Can’t I call to make a reservation so I don’t have to enter my credit card info?
Nope. The website is the only way to make a reservation.
• Are dogs allowed at The Side Lot?
Yep! Dogs are allowed in the Backyard only. They MUST stay on a short leash and off the furniture at all times. The Dog food menu will be available beginning April 2nd.
• Are kids allowed in The Side Lot?
YES! Kids are allowed in the Taproom & the Backyard daily until 8p. Children must remain seated or within reach of an adult at all times. After 8p, both venues are 21+ unless otherwise specified.
• Do you have food?
Yes! We have fantastic food options. You can view our menu by clicking ‘Menus’ above.
• Are the Video Gaming machines open?
Yes.
• How many people can I have in my party?
Our system will only allow reservations for a maximum of 6 guests per table for general reservations. If you have a larger group, please email info@thesidelot.com.
• Can we order outside food?
With the launch of our food menu, we no longer allow any outside food, including Slyce Coal Fired Pizza.
• Can I host an event at Side Lot?
Absolutely! We offer events for groups of 10 - 120 people. You can find all of the details here: Groups & Events.
• Is smoking allowed in the Backyard?
There is no smoking in the Backyard. There is a smoking area located in the parking lot.
